I haven't really been giving this blog any attention at all. I have been so busy with work. Life is busy and full and that's all good and well. I just feel overwhelmed by it all. I have a big birthday coming up in a few weeks. 45.......How in the hell did I get to be 45? I am not sure quite what to make of all that. I know its just a number and that's cool. But 45? 45 is the age of my parents friends. 45 just seems so........middle age. I also really need some time off. I had planned on taking the full month of December off for vacation,but it didn't work that way. So in a few weeks, I will take a week in November and a week in December. And that will be great.
Owen and I are doing great. He is writing like a fiend these days and that is great. I have also tried to scale back a bit and retire some debt I have collected. So you won't be seeing me at Target that much.
I started posting on Facebook recently and the old friends have been crawling out of the woodwork. It has been great. I really hope that someday soon we can leave Chicago. We are ready.

Flannery is half pit and a total sweetheart. Pit Bulls have been getting a bad rap the last few years. Not my Pit Bull is a wonderful organization that try to dismiss the myth that all pit bulls are bad. This really is a case of nuture versus nature.

March 1st! Finally. New blog and the light at the end of the tunnel with regards to winter. This time of year is very hard on me. I can't really make any life decisions right now,because they all involve cold weather.
